Overall Feedback: Located on a working farm in Mullica Hills New Jersey is Creamy Acres Night of Terror. Our squad had honestly no knowledge that this haunt had even existed until we stumbled upon their feature on HGTV’s “Halloween Tricked Out”. It’s definitely easy for us to say that Creamy Acres Night of Terror is by far a HIDDEN GEM in the haunt industry. We feel it’s important to add that our squad members are within 1-2 hours of Creamy Acres so it’s not like we are two or three states over… in a sense this haunt is almost in our backyard and we had no knowledge of it’s existence. We arrived on a Saturday evening around 8:30pm to what seemed to be a rather quiet haunt on just their second night of the 2017 season. With little knowledge of this haunt we didn’t have very high expectations. It’s suggested that you begin your experience with the Ride of Terror, the hayride at Creamy Acres. Once aboard we were anxious to see what this haunt had to offer and it only took about two or three scenes on the hayride for us to realize we were in for a special treat. Well thought out and quite honestly immaculate scenes just kept appearing around each twist and turn. We were simply blown away by the Ride of Terror and all the impressive things it had to offer. After completion of the Ride of Terror customers complete The Zombie Mayhem, Cornfield Maze and Head Hunters one after another. We personally dislike this set up in a haunt as it makes it VERY hard to remember what all took part in each attraction. By the end of the string of attractions everything you encountered and experienced just gets smushed into one big picture. Although this setup does have some downfalls it surely has it’s positives like minimal wait times and the attractions feeling a bit longer time wise. After completing the first four of six attractions customers are funneled back out towards the main entertainment area where they can then choose the order of which they complete the final two attractions, Dark Dreams and Slaughter Cave. Across the board at Creamy Acres all six attractions had well designed scenes and absolutely amazing props and animatronics. There was definitely no shortage in actors at this haunt on Saturday which is pretty impressive for it being so early on in the season and simply for having six attractions. The actors encountered did well remaining in the character they were portraying. There was a good mix of actor pop scares and actor skits/acts found amongst all the attractions. An in your face experience is to be expected during your time at Creamy Acres! Costume and makeup was about or slightly above average. Some attractions featured actors in movie ready makeup while others featured not near as “life-like” makeup and costume. The overall scare factor at Creamy Acres is perfect for a wide range of guests. We saw individuals ranging in age from 10-50+ jumping and screaming in fear. The majority of our squad members all experienced multiple scares that left us with a rush of adrenaline and of course followed up by a good laugh. Regarding the overall entertainment/food rating, Creamy Acres ranks around average. Multiple different food vendors were on site along with a gift shop and multiple different photo booths/stands to get fun group pictures. With six full sized attractions Creamy Acres Night of Terror definitely boasts a night full of spooky fun. We easily spent 90 minutes inside the attractions and close to 2-2.5 hours overall at this haunt and that’s on a quiet night. Add a larger crowd and waiting lines and you’ll surely be in for a much longer evening. At the conclusion of the six attractions it was pretty clear that we were all blown away by the experience Creamy Acres Night of Terror offers! We definitely arrived with tons of question marks and grey areas regarding this haunt but we ended up leaving truly blown away and ultimately caught off guard by the impressive experience. Creamy Acres Night of Terror is definitely one of our favorites thus far this year and is surely in the running for one of our top haunts of the 2017 season! If you’ve never visited this haunt we strongly encourage you to pay them a visit! We have no doubts that you will have a fun filled and frightening experience.

Likes & Dislikes: Once aboard the hay wagon at Creamy Acres Night of Terror you are in for quite a ride! We were AMAZED by the detailed and truly top notch scenes we encountered. We loved the lack of dead space between the attractions as it kept the upbeat atmosphere alive from start to end. Ride of Terror has by far the most scenes out of any hayride we’ve ever experienced. It was just one amazing scene after another! When we thought we’ve seen it all we rolled up along a dreadful smelling pond with a full sized sunken pirate ship… like WOW! The actors engaged with the customers by jumping on board and clinging to the edges of the wagon to ultimately provide an in your face experience. There really weren’t any major dislikes in our eyes regarding the Ride of Terror. Although we do wish the hayride would stop completely at more of the scenes to allow the actors to engage more with the customer and provide a bit more of a skit. All in all, Ride of Terror is by far the BEST HAYRIDE we've experienced thus far in 2017!
Attraction Name: The Zombie Mayhem
Overall Attraction Rating (scale of 1-10): 7.5
Actor Rating (scale of 1-10): 8
Props Rating (scale of 1-10): 8
Attraction Scare Factor Rating (scale of 1-10): 7
Likes & Dislikes: Once the Ride of Terror comes to an end you immediately end up in line for The Zombie Mayhem. This attraction immerses you into a world of bloodthirsty zombies so keep your fingers crossed that you’ll make it out without any bite marks! Kuddos to the zombies for not coming out of character. Nothing worse than going through a zombie themed attraction and having the actors come out of character to speak with the customer. Again more well designed and detailed scenes were encountered. Great placement of actors, props and pop scares helped to provide a decent scare factor. Only downfall of this attraction is that it’s the second of four straight attractions so by the end you struggle to fully remember what happened, which is a shame because this attraction does have some good experiences to be had!
Attraction Name: Cornfield Maze

Likes & Dislikes: What’s better than being lost in a cornfield with crazed actors roaming around? We sure can’t think of anything. This Cornfield Maze was voted the best attraction of the night by a few of our members. As you wander through the cornfield you can’t help but feel like you’re being stalked. Suspense and anxiety builds up and just at the right moment one of the crazed actors comes out from nowhere. Many cornfield themed haunts have a set pathway to walk through… that’s something you won’t find in this cornfield. There’s not necessarily a ton of room for error but it is up to the customer to find their way out. We remember wandering through one or two areas what seemed like two or three different times. We definitely loved the true maze like paths! The only downfall of this attraction was the lack of knowing you were actually entering the attraction. As you complete The Zombie Mayhem you practically roll right into the Cornfield Maze leaving you questioning if you definitely changed attractions or not. Either better signage, a staff member and/or a short queue line would go a long way in alerting the customer that they are entering the next attraction. But overall, great spooky fun was experienced in the Cornfield Maze!
Attraction Name: Head Hunters
Overall Attraction Rating (scale of 1-10): 7.5
Actor Rating (scale of 1-10): 8
Props Rating (scale of 1-10): 8
Attraction Scare Factor Rating (scale of 1-10): 7
Likes & Dislikes: If you like your head then you better either run through this attraction or guard your head like your life depends on it. The actors in Head Hunters are looking for their next “trophy” to take home. You’ll encounter lots of witch doctors and voodoo along the journey through this attraction as they try to penetrate your thoughts to control your mind. There seemed to be more of a skit/act from the actors in this attractions which is something we really liked! We were blown away by the swamp scene! Small bridges stretched across the murky swamp waters run from the different shacks that house “trophies” of the customers who were victimized by the Head Hunters. Watch out for the gators in the swamp… the sure do like to bite ankles! Fortunately for us we all escaped from the Head Hunters with our heads all still in tact.
Attraction Name: Dark Dreams
Overall Attraction Rating (scale of 1-10): 7.5
Actor Rating (scale of 1-10): 8
Props Rating (scale of 1-10): 8
Attraction Scare Factor Rating (scale of 1-10): 8
Likes & Dislikes: Dark Dreams is your classical low lighted attraction packed full with pop scares! It was executed rather well therefore resulting in some good high startle scares! It’s amazing to see that the actors have perfected their timing so early on in the season. All in all, Dark Dreams is a simple but effective attraction that provides a fun and spooky experience for all customers who enter!
Attraction Name: Slaughter Cave
Overall Attraction Rating (scale of 1-10): 8
Actor Rating (scale of 1-10): 8
Props Rating (scale of 1-10): 8
Attraction Scare Factor Rating (scale of 1-10): 8.5
Likes & Dislikes: Creamy Acres nailed it with their description of Slaughter Cave, “Step into the dark, sinister cave and explore, but beware, this cave is anything but abandoned.” Once inside this sinister cave you’ll be trembling with fear and worry as the thought of not making it out alive comes across your mind far more than once! Another attraction slam packed with high quality scenes and more high startle scares. The crazed actors we encountered were in perfect character and provided a large number of startles to our squad! A good mix of actor pop scares and skits/acts were utilized to help keep things intense from start to finish.
