Distorted Dreams Haunt previously located in Florida returns for their 15th season of haunting in 2022, but for their first season located in Cascade Maryland. Distorted Dreams Haunt will feature “The Haunting of Historic Fort Ritchie” for 2022. These folks aim to bring your senses to the scene. The scenes are set on certain periods of time and will utilize history as the primary storyline - featuring creepy abandoned buildings & real-life eerie set items. What's better than real life horror?
With the haunt being housed at the Infamous Fort Ritchie, there’s certainly ample documented paranormal activity on the property! The Ritchie Boys consisted of approximately 20,000 servicemen and 200 Women's Army Corps members who were trained for U.S. Army Intelligence during WWII at the secret Camp Ritchie training facility. As you walk through the Fort you’ll certainly feel a presence and sometimes even feel or hear footsteps nearby.
Distorted Dreams Haunt gears their attraction towards the most hardcore haunt lovers, so this attraction is NOT for the faint of heart! While guests are outside the attraction they’ll have the ability to explore portions of the historic Fort Ritchie, while also enjoying several photo-ops, food trucks, merchandise stand, & more! Distorted Dreams Haunt anticipates attacking all your senses as they feature & utilize top of the line animatronics, 30+ live scare actors, lights, audio, & sensory effects!
Distorted Dreams Haunt will be open primarily Thursday-Saturday, beginning Friday September 30th through Monday October 31st. Tickets are $20 per person with a skip the line add-on for an additional $15. One night only (Sunday October 30th) they’ll be hosting a BLACKOUT event, where the set lights are turned off & you’re left with just a glowstick to guide your group through.
