Lincoln Mill Haunted House - 2022 Haunt Spotlight

Please help us in welcoming a BRAND NEW haunted attraction to Pennsylvania, Lincoln Mill Haunted House, opening in Manayunk this October! Lincoln Mill Haunted House is driven by an eerie backstory featuring an array of ominous characters that tie to the mill’s textile mill history in the 1930’s. As the legend goes, The Lincoln Mill opened in 1860 and was one of Manayunk’s numerous textile mills. The mill was recently purchased by a local developer, who began renovations on the interior. On September 2, 2021, Hurricane Ida struck Philadelphia and flooded the mill to historic water levels. The flood significantly damaged the mill’s interior and revealed a hidden chamber located below the basement level. Countless bodies were found and a dark truth was discovered about the mill’s past. Local authorities determined that during the Great Depression in the 1930’s, Viktor Kane, the mill owner, tormented and experimented on his workers. Countless workers lost their lives and their spirits continue to haunt the mill. Construction has since been halted and the mill will open to the public for guests to experience its dark past for themselves.

Lincoln Mill Haunted House will take patrons on a ~15-20 minute spine-chilling adventure encountering ~40 live scare actors, a wide array of pneumatic props/animatronics, and startling special effects. Lincoln Mill Haunted House is not for the faint of heart, as they are geared towards providing a very scary experience! Rumor has it the Lincoln Mill possesses paranormal activity, undoubtedly certain to leave you guessing what was real and what wasn’t. While outside of the attraction guests can enjoy food trucks, beer vendors (with special branded Lincoln Mill offerings), encounters with roaming scare actors, video clips of the Lincoln Mill backstory, and maybe even a live in-attraction scare-cam. On Saturdays only from 12-4pm, younger guests are encouraged to partake in the no scare day time experience at the Lincoln Mill, featuring a trick or treat candy station, interactive scavenger hunt inside the haunted house, photo ops, face painting, Halloween movies, & food/beverages.
