We're More Than Haunt Fans!

​

First and foremost, we're haunt fans—but our perspective has been shaped by years of visiting and reviewing attractions across multiple states, experiencing everything from small volunteer-run haunts to large-scale productions.

Several squad members also have firsthand experience with scare acting and basic scenic work, while our group has had opportunities to tour attractions behind the scenes, talk shop with owners and creators, and see what goes into a haunt long before opening night! That exposure has given us a much deeper appreciation for the time, creativity, teamwork, investment, and downright hard work required to build and operate a successful haunted attraction.

Does that make us industry experts? Nope—and we don't pretend to be. But we've experience a lot of haunts, we understand more of what happens behind the curtain than the average guest, and we've developed a consistent approach to evaluating the things that make a haunt experience memorable.
