Overall Feedback: Sinister, horrifying, spine-tingling, nerve-racking, etc. are just some of the words that come to mind when we think about our experience at Reaper’s Revenge in 2017!! In 2016 Reaper’s Revenge was voted our favorite haunted attraction of the season. For 2017 they brought the scares to a whole new level and we can’t help but say it’s likely Reaper’s Revenge will once again receive our favorite haunted attraction of the year award! We arrived at Reaper’s Revenge around 9:30pm on a Saturday evening and boy were they poppin! As you approach the ticket booth your heart begins to race in excitement of what the night has in store! The instant energy gets you in the mood to be scared out of your skin and that energy is carried through your entire evening! Reaper’s Revenge provides a solid 90+ minutes of entertainment so you’ll definitely have an evenings worth of vicious chills and thrills! Be prepared as you’ll have one long initial wait but once aboard the haywagon you experience the four attractions in order with very minimal wait time between each attraction. As a group we often dislike when haunts have you experience all the attractions in order but Reaper’s Revenge does a VERY good job at making an obvious entrance into each attraction and not just having all four attractions roll into what seems to be one big attraction. Awaiting you at Reaper’s Revenge is four TOP NOTCH attractions! Actors, costume, makeup, props, animatronics, set designs, etc. are all mind-boggling and truly phenomenal! It’s so very clear that Reaper’s Revenge really puts a lot of time and energy into their actors! They are downright some of the best actors we’ve ever witnessed at a haunted attraction. You won’t just find a few standout actors at Reaper’s Revenge as every single actor is just as good as the other! Reaper’s Revenge sure does have some damn good costume and makeup artists on staff! We were really blown away by the realisticness of the costumes and makeup! When it comes to props, animatronics, sound effects, pyrotechnics, etc. you’d think you were on the set of a hollywood movie! We would be straight up lying if we said Reaper’s Revenge isn’t scary. Were sure they have more than a handful of customers that piss themselves every night! As a whole our squad doesn’t scare easily but scaring us came easy for Reaper’s Revenge. We witnessed grown men and women screaming and sobbing in utter fear! Not only do they provide a frightening experience but also an entertaining experience featuring the perfect combination of scares and laughs! At the completion of the four attractions you can grab some munchies and kick back by the fire pit and discuss the craziness you just endured! It’s so hard to believe that we had never heard of this haunt until last season! Our squad members traveled a range of 2-5 hours to attend Reaper’s Revenge and it’s more than worth the drive! We personally would have no second guesses in whether to refer someone a few states away to come visit Reaper’s Revenge! If you’re a haunt lover and have never visited Reaper’s Revenge you are missing out big time! Reaper’s Revenge is an innovative and downright top notch haunted attraction featuring vicious chills and thrills!! We give you no choice but to come pay Reaper’s Revenge a visit during the 2017 season… we know you’ll have blast!!

Attraction Name: Haunted Hayride

Feedback: At Reaper’s Revenge you will find by far one of the best hayrides anywhere in the area! Packed full with impressive scenes, terrifying actors and ear piercing screams this hayride is sure to thrill any haunt lover. This hayride gives haunt lovers a little bit of everything… rednecks, classic haunt characters, zombies and much more. There is a perfect combination of your traditional hayride scenes and truly one of a kind scenes. Also mixed in there is a combination of theatrical and in your face performances. Sound effects had the whole hay wagon literally shaking and not to mention our arm hairs standing on end… The actors really did wonders to bring the woods and each and every scene to life. A very simple task that helped the haunted hayride keep its terrifying atmosphere and intensity is how the actors stayed in character until the wagon was completely out of sight! So many times nowadays you go through a hayride scene and then see the actors resetting the scene before the wagon is out of sight… when that happens it is such a mood killer. We loved how the woods and it’s natural elements were utilized to really set an eerie vibe. We don’t want to give anything away but you will board the hay wagon two times which means yes, you’ll be getting off at some point along the ride… what happens when you get off? Well, you’ll just have to wait and see for yourself!
Attraction Name: Lost Carnival

Feedback: Lost Carnival is by far the ABSOLUTE BEST clown based attraction we’ve ever experienced!! They turn the dark woods into a lively, entertaining and a quite frankly terrifying carnival. You won’t stumble upon just a few scenes in this lost carnival… scene after scene after scene will leave you in awe. A ferris wheel, carousel, roller coaster, carnival games, clown filled funhouse, mindreader… they truly nail every aspect of a carnival! How were the actors you ask? Two words… FLAWLESSLY JAW-DROPPING! They put on a comical yet creepy performance which had us laughing one moment and within seconds jumping out of our skin! Not a single flaw could be found anywhere in this attraction. It’s tough to put into words how amazing Lost Carnival is but just know that you’ll be in for quite the show at this carnival!

Feedback: “Where are we going?”, “Eww what was that?”, “Ouch!!! I just smacked into a wall again!” and petrified squeals are just some of the things we said while going through PITCH BLACK! Last season we said “We definitely left this attraction with our hearts racing and short of breath”... well last seasons version of Pitch Black was nothing compared to this seasons version!! From what we could tell Pitch Black received a complete overhaul of changes and additions and boy did they make this attraction even more horrifying! From the moment you approach the facade of the attraction to the time you finally make it out, your heart is racing in complete and utter horror! Your sight, hearing, and sense of touch are all put to the test! Within minutes of being in the attraction we were praying that we’d make it out alive. If you’ve never felt the feeling of being completely lost and trapped then we urge you to enter Pitch Black because it does just that! A whole new vile and horrid addition to Pitch Black is the use of wetness, be it on the walls or things dangling from the ceiling… this alone upped the scare factor of the attraction! We can’t forget to mention how awesome the elevator scene was! Kudos to the actors in Pitch Black for their perfect timing. We were caught off guard so many times… were worrying about not running into walls and then BAM, an actor is in your face. Pitch Black is downright SINISTER and NERVE-RACKING!!

Feedback: As you approach Sector 13 you can’t help but question what the heck you are about to encounter. Sector 13 is the last bridge to the relatively normal Western US as the Eastern half of the US has suffered a huge bio-nuclear attack. If you make it through Sector 13 than you survived the nuclear attack. However, the cannibalistic mutants that you will encounter definitely do not make escaping very easy. The first few scenes of Sector 13 are security related and we were definitely intimidated by the intensity of the security guards. You truly felt as if this was real life and if you didn’t follow commands from the guards, you would be tossed to the mutants that would turn you into one of them! After you go through the decontamination process all hell breaks loose! Crazed and malicious actors were the highlight of the attraction! They never once let the sinister intensity skip a beat. We feared for our lives every second during our journey through Sector 13. All we can say is good luck trying to make it out of Sector 13 with all your limbs intact!
